2. Purpose of the App

The app is used to identify, record, and manage machines, machine components, and work orders. Barcodes, QR codes, and photos can be captured and assigned to work orders.

3. Camera Access

The app requires access to the device’s camera exclusively for the following purposes:

Scanning barcodes and QR codes to uniquely identify machines and components
Scanning QR codes for app configuration (e.g. server settings)
Taking photos that can be attached to a work order

The app does not record videos and does not use facial recognition.

4. Data Processed

Barcode and QR code contents
User-captured photos
Work order–related data
Timestamps (date and time)

No location data, biometric data, or advertising/tracking data is collected.

5. Data Transmission

Photos and related work order data are transmitted to the company’s application server using encrypted connections (HTTPS).

Barcode and QR code scans are processed locally and not transmitted to external services.

6. Data Storage

Data may be stored temporarily on the device until successful transmission. Long-term storage takes place exclusively on the company’s application server.

8. User Rights

Users have the right to access, rectify, delete, restrict processing, request data portability, and lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority.

9. Data Security

Appropriate technical and organizational measures are used to protect data. All communication is encrypted.

10. Changes to This Policy

This Privacy Policy may be updated. The latest version will always be made publicly available.
